I’m playing long overdue catch up but, as february is the month celebrating love, i might as well shout out about one of mine…music! I might be yet to find someone who’ll make me a playlist (sickening I know) but that didn’t stop me from finding new tracks to obsess over in February. January proved to be a good month for music and February seemed to keep this theme going, with plenty of offerings from music heavyweights and newbies alike. Here are my Top Tracks of February 2023… Hard mf 2 luv - bad sounds The third single from brothers-come-bandmates Bad Sounds, there’s an infectious air to the track (despite its  less than positive sentiment) with its jingly instrumentals and whispery vocals. Whether you’re familiar with the duo or not, this song is a perfect introduction (or way to rediscover) their sound. It’s shaping up to be an exciting year for music as january saw the release of singles/albums from artists old and new… January might have been a slow and ever so slightly depressing month (as usual) but it thankfully gifted music lovers everywhere single releases, album announcements and drops, and plenty of festival lineup announcements. I’m a massive fan of a good playlist and January certainly provided plenty of bangers to get everyone’s 2023 playlists off to a great start. Here are my Top Tracks of January 2023…

  HERE IS THE second PART OF MY ‘top ALBUMS OF 2022’. FEATURING foals, maggie rogers AND MORE! As promised, here is the second part of my ‘Top Albums of 2022’ (you can catch up on the Part One here ). Admittedly, the last few months of 2022 didn’t produce as many stand out albums as I perhaps thought it would so picking my favourites was a bit trickier. Saying that, here are the 7 releases which complete my ‘Top Albums of 2022’ list, with release  dates from June to October.

Here is the first part of my ‘top albums of 2022’. Featuring spector, miles kane and more! After the pandemic delayed the release of eagerly awaited songs and albums for many artists, 2022 proved to be the year the music industry got firmly back on its feet. So many new releases found their way into our ears (and onto our playlists) last year that I couldn’t possibly fit them into one post - believe me, I tried! After much deliberation, I narrowed it down to seventeen (yes seventeen! ) releases that I couldn’t stop listening to last year (and will probably continue to listen to this year - sorry neighbours!). So, let’s get into it! Here are the first 10 releases that have wormed their way on to my ‘Top Albums of 2022’, with release dates from January to May 2022.
